Pain in throat
It is an unpleasant, causing suffering sensation which results from the inflammatory or a disease affecting tonsils or mucosal membrane of pharynx and larynx. The pain appears most frequently in swallowing and when it has an infectious origin (mostly viral or bacterial) it may be accompanied by fever, dry or productive cough with purulent sputum, muscles pain and general weakness. It can also appear as a result of drying up throat’s mucosa caused by long talking or inhaling dry and hot air.
