Anorexia
It is a loss of appetite, which is most frequently a result of disease. It manifest as a loss of need of eating and aversion to it. It may appear in course of many diseases e.g. infectious and malignant diseases or persistent inflammatory states. It is very unwanted symptom which leads to the excessive weakness of the body. It must be distinguished from anorexia nervosa which is a serious psychiatric disorder.
