Syncope and collapse
Syncope is a sudden, short-lasting and independently reversible loss of consciousness. It is often preceded by increase of heart action frequency, perspiration, sweating, nausea, pain in chest, dizziness, blurred vision, unintentional urination or/and defecation. Collapse is an acute circulatory failure state, accompanied by sudden lowering of the blood pressure. Symptoms comprise intense weakness, pallor of the skin, excessive sweating, very often loss of consciousness.
